Alena Akhmadullina Fall-Winter 2018/19 Show in Paris

March 4, Le Bristol Hotel in Paris held Alena Akhmadullina Fall-Winter 2018/19 show. Couturier Alena Akhmadullina presented her new collection to international buyers, the press, trendsetters, and fashion experts in person.

Alena Akhmadullina Fall-Winter 2018/19 collection is inspired by the Snow Queen fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen and is a somewhat ironical look at the icy heroine image through the ‘80s lens. Snow Queen is accompanied by magic animals, northern owls and deer, embodied in proverbial couturier prints and exquisite fur details.

The show took place in the ancient building of the legendary Le Bristol Paris Hotel, in the Salon Castellane, once a private theatre of Count of Castellane decorated with Venetian floral tapestry. The Salon inspired the show concept suggested by producer Andrey Fomin: theatrical live installations accentuated by scenic lighting. The models embodied the fairy-tale heroes: Snow Queen, Kai, Gerda, and the retinue.

The event guests included Maria Fedorova, Svetlana Bondarchuk, Ksenia Solovyeva, Karina Dobrotvorskaya, Daria Veledeeva, Jurate Gurauskaite, Evelina Khromchenko, Nataly Osmann, Anna Zyurova, Ilyana Erdneeva, Ekaterina Darma, Irina Vodolazova, Marina and Arina Kuzmin, Chloe King, Claire Distenfeld, Danielle Steel, Vanessa Traina, Stephanie LaCava, Mary Katrantzou, Michel Maison, and many more.

Alena Akhmadullina brand has presented its collections in Paris since 2004. It premiered at the Paris Fashion Week in 2005.
